How do ADD doctors in Connecticut diagnose ADD?
January 16th, 2012 . by adminADD doctors in Connecticut and other areas diagnose ADD by the symptoms that are shown by the patients. These symptoms should be seen in their guidelines from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-IV. If the person suspected with ADD or Attention Deficit Disorder has shown at least 6 of the symptoms mentioned on the DSMD-IV, he can be clinically diagnosed with ADD. To know if the person is showing those symptoms, the doctors will interview the parents of the suspected person, his or her partner if there is any and if still studying, the doctor may also look for the report cards of teachers.
